William Orth is the superintendent for USD 420. Mr. Orth started his career in music performance and education. He was Middle School Principal in Kingman Kansas, followed by Superintendent of Baileyville/St. Benedict Schools and Superintendent of Altoona-Midway Schools. Mr. Orth is married to Carol. They have two sons (Chad and Jarod) along with two grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Orth's hobbies include yard work, fishing and most of all being with family. Education is a passion for Mr. Orth with high expectations of student success.
